Linear motor drive features

In the machine tool feed system, the biggest difference between the linear motor direct drive and the original rotary motor drive is to cancel all the mechanical intermediate transmission links from the motor to the workbench (drag plate), and shorten the length of the machine tool feed transmission chain to zero. This mode of transmission is called zero transmission. It is precisely because of this zero transmission mode that the original rotary motor drive mode cannot achieve performance indicators and certain advantages.

The Vector VC800 linear motor driver has the following features:

Compatible with standard incremental ABZ encoders, optional HALLU HALLV HALLW.

The incremental ABZ encoder directly uses the photoelectric conversion principle to output three sets of square wave pulses A, B and Z phases. The phase difference between group A and group B is 90. Thus, the rotation direction can be easily judged, and the Z phase is one pulse per revolution for reference point positioning. The principle is simple, the average mechanical life can be more than tens of thousands of hours, strong anti-interference ability, high reliability.

It can be configured as automatic phase search on power-on. The actuator phase can also be obtained accurately under the condition of load disturbance and unidirectional rotation.

The matching motor is simple, with automatic identification of stator winding parameters, automatic identification of actuator mass, magnetic pole distance estimation, automatic setting of current loop bandwidth, and VECObserver software to quickly match linear motors.

Support dynamic braking function, in the case of abnormal conditions can make the motor fast braking, prevent the speed.

The maximum position instruction input is 4MHz, and the AB pulse can reach 16MHz after 4x conversion.

Support position correction function. After correction, the magnetic encoder can achieve a maximum positioning accuracy of ±1μm.

Respond quickly. Current loop control cycle is the fastest 80KHz, speed loop control cycle is the fastest 40KHz.

 

The supporting VECObserver software can control the curve operation parameters visually, and has the function of self-learning encoder parameters and gain adjustment, making the linear motor control debugging more simple and clear! And has the following functions:

Real-time monitoring of the operating parameters of any curve, read all parameters of the driver.

Save and load running curve data, analyze running curve data, execute macro command function.

inertial self-learning and gain self-adjustment function, can update the driver parameters and offline parameter editing.
